Thank you for your interest in participating in Faceofglamsafrica Beauty contest. To complete your application and qualify to participate, you are required to accept these terms and conditions that guide the contest. By using our website which is governed by our privacy policy, you accept these terms, conditions, and disclaimer in full. Accordingly, if you disagree with these terms, conditions and disclaimer or any part thereof, you must not use our website or submit your application and materials.

1) This contest and use of this website are intended for use by residents of Nigeria or indigenes of Nigeria and Such pictures or images must not be affiliated with any brand or organization.

2) All information on contest rules and participation guidelines for the photo contest is made available on this website.

3) You acknowledge and agree that the entire content, design, selection and arrangement of the content and material contained in this website, including but not limited to text, software, music, sound, photographs, graphics, video, (collectively and individually, the "Content") is protected by copyrights, trademarks, service marks, patents, or other proprietary rights and laws. You acknowledge and agree that You are permitted to use the Content only as expressly set out below, and any use such as, but not limited to, copying, reproducing, republishing, transmitting, distributing, offering any of the Content to the public, or creating derivative works of the Content is prohibited without the prior express written authorisation of the organizers of the Faceofglamsafrica contest.

4) All Content on the Site remains the property of the FaceofglamsAfrica Beauty Contest, or, in respect of certain images, the author of the image.

5) Information on the Site, including these Terms, is subject to change without notice. Please review these terms regularly to ensure you are aware of any changes made by Face of Glams Africa Beauty Contest. You agree to be legally bound by these Terms as updated and/or amended.

6) The Face of Glams Africa Beauty Contest Organizers make no representations that the Content on this Site is appropriate or available for use in all countries. Those who do access this Site are solely responsible for compliance with local laws of the country in which the Content is accessed.

7) While the organizers of the Face of Glams Africa Beauty Contest will use reasonable efforts to include accurate and up to date information on the Site. The organizers makes no warranties or representations as to the accuracy, correctness, reliability or otherwise with respect to such information, and assumes no liability or responsibility for any omissions or errors (including, without limitation, typographical errors and technical errors) in the content.

8) The Face of Glams Africa Beauty Contest reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify and remove any image uploaded (“entry”) that does not comply with the following requirements, even after the entry is submitted on the Website. You warrant and represent, in respect of each entry submitted by You (“Entry”), as follows:

  1. a) You are the sole owner and author of each Entry.
  2. b) You have the right to make your Entry available to the site.
  3. c) Entry does not contain any infringing, threatening, false, misleading, abusive, harassing, libellous, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, scandalous, inflammatory, pornographic, or profane content.
  4. d) Entry does not contain any material that could constitute or encourage conduct which would be considered a criminal offence, give rise to civil liability, or otherwise violate any law of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The Fund accepts no legal liability for the Entries submitted to this contest.
  5. e) Entry does not infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, contract rights, or any other intellectual property rights of any third person or entity or violate any person’s rights of privacy or publicity.
  6. f) Entry is original and unpublished; it does not infringe third-party rights or rights of use, honour, privacy, image, intellectual and/or industrial property; and it complies with all applicable legislation.
  7. g) Entry does not contain any commercial content that promotes any product or service.

9) You agree to fully indemnify Face of Glams Africa Beauty Contest Organizers in respect of all royalties, fees and any other monies owing to any person by reason of Your breaching any of the foregoing.

10) The Face of Glams Africa Beauty Contest will run an online rating process whereby members of the public will vote for a favourite photograph. If there is sufficient evidence (in The Face of Glams Africa Beauty Contest Organizers sole discretion) to suggest malpractice and manipulation of the rating process, then The Face of Glams Africa Beauty Contest Organizers have the sole right to remove the relevant Entry or Entries.

11) The procedure for entering this Competition is as follows:

  1. a) Interested participants must register and create a profile on the website with their name, email, and phone number.
  2. b) Using any digital device of choice, participants must submit one picture. Picture must be original concepts.
  3. c) Participants upload the image file on the website. The entry must be labelled with the entrant’s name and a short description of the photograph. Image files must be a minimum of 472 x 591 pixels and not more than 4MB.
  4. d) On submission of the image file, entrant must confirm via mail and share the contest hashtag on different social media for friends to vote for them.
  5. e) Each entrant can submit no more than one photo entries.
  6. f) Voting cost #100 and payment is done online (by paystack/flutterwave/paypal.) and manual/direct transfer into Account 1018588087 FACEOFGLAMZAFRICA Zenith Bank.
  7. g) Entrant must follow the contest information on the website and on Face of Glams Africa social media pages to know when voting opens and solicit for votes.

12) The Face of Glams Africa Beauty Contest runs every month approximately 12 contest in a year.

13) You acknowledge that it is your responsibility to protect Your Entry against image misuse by any third party, which includes but is not limited to, the insertion of a watermark, for example. The   Face of Glams Africa Beauty Contest Organizers and its Partners assume no responsibility and are not liable for any image misuse.

14) Participants are only allowed to submit one entries. Blurry, illegible, incomplete, defaced, or corrupt entries will not be accepted.

15) This Competition is open to every Nigerian between the ages of 18-30 years old that is creatively inclined and desires to express the creativity through photography using any digital device at their disposal to take compelling images that ties in with the “Visions of Nigeria” theme as stated on the website.

16) This contest shall be governed by the Laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

17) The organizers possess the right to adjust the Terms and Conditions as deemed necessary, for the good of all concerned.

18)       Winning the contest will only be adjudged to the following terms below:

  1. Contestants must complete the two stages in this competition before winning the contest.
  2. Top 10 contestants will be selected based on the highest votes contestants get in stage 2. and will be awarded a consolation
  3. Contestant with the highest number of votes will be considered winner of the competition and same is appilicable to 1st,2nd and 3rd Runner-up
  4. Winners will be contacted to redeem prizes within 48hrs after each contest. Money prizes will be transferred into the account details provided by winners and all gift prizes will be delivered through delivery companies in Nigeria to winner’s location within 7 working days.
  5. Contetstants on Top 10 Contestants list that do not win with contest will be rewarded 20% of the money they generated through their Fans Voting, which may be in the form of gift items or cash rewards from us, at the discretion of the contest management team.
  6. If there is suspicion of fraud, the time for obtaining the award may be extended for up to 30 working days.
  7. The organizing business is not liable for any problems that may happen during the prize distribution.
  8. If a Participant's account is removed, either on his or her own initiative or at the request of faceofgalmsafrica, no award will be provided, and there will be no REFUND OF MONEY regardless of the cause.
  9. If there is suspicion of fraud, the time for obtaining the award may be extended for up to 90 working days.
  10. In addition, if fraudulent vote purchases are confirmed (for example, a stolen card), the member's account, participation, and award will be revoked.
  11. If it is discovered following verification that the Participant does not live in the correct place for the sub-classifications by State/Country, her/his reward will be annulled, and no recompense for any monies invested will be made 

19) Before any participation, Participants must have read these regulations and have accepted them in their entirety. Participants in the contest will be deemed as having accepted these provisions in their entirety.

Our website utilizes cookie files, just like most of websites on the Internet, in order to ensure its best operation. Cookie files are small text files stored on a computer or a cell phone while browsing websites.

 

21) If, as a result of these Competition Rules, an unexpected issue arises, the parties concerned will do their best efforts to resolve any dispute or difference of opinion between them, arising from or in connection with these Competition Rules, peacefully and without resorting to litigation. Any disagreement or difference between the parties that cannot be resolved by mutual dialogue must be committed to the arbitration laws in accordance with the regulations of the country wherever this contract was executed.
